Evidence that God really does exist

Facebook sinking fast among US teens: survey.

.

And he’s a beneficent deity.

Yeah? So what’s the next stupid fucking thing they’re doing with all their time?

As was pointed out in another thread, they may not use it when they’re teens because it doesn’t fit their lifestyles and because their parents are on it, but its model might prove desirable to them as young adults. So it might just be an age thing, like driving a minivan, rather than a death knell for Facebook.

I told you Myspace was coming back!

Not only parents, but grandparents. I saw mention of teens abandoning or never using FB a few years ago.

When I was younger I used Yahoo exclusively, and others used AOL back then.

I don’t really think that youngsters who don’t use Facebook now will start when they are older.

Something that modern online tech has demonstrated is the ephemeral nature of things.

Young Facebook users moved on to Instagram, and Twitter, and then on to Snapchat.

Something WILL be next, there is always a next.

Hmmm, how can I invent that? Maybe something completely analog (handy after that EM Pulse of the '20s…). Hmm, maybe a sketchbook that gets handed from student to student…

Okay, I’m really Olde Skoole. I remember back in the mid-'60s we each had a Slam Book that we passed around, with questions on each page, and by the time it got passed back to you (sometimes days later), dozens of your fellow kids had replied. It was theoretically anonymous, but if you revealed you had a crush on The Cool Kid’s crush, he’d reply to your bombshell with a “Watch out, Diggs-ole…”

Oh, an important tool for the Slam Books was the 10-color Ballpoint Pen… no one would ever figure out who you really were if you used different colors… :^)
