Evil Controllers - Accessible PS4 Controllers

Does anybody have any experience with Evil Controllers (http://www.evilcontrollers.com/)?

By way of background, I have limited use of my right hand, essentially I just have a grip but no fine motor capability. I haven’t done much in the way of console gaming in years, but back in the PS2 days I was able to run many games holding the controller flat in my right hand and using my left for all joysticks and buttons. The tricky part was the front buttons/triggers, if any critical game function was mapped to those I’d be in real trouble.

Fast forward to today, the family got me a PS4 for Father’s Day. The challenge now is that the shape of the controllers has evolved and those front triggers are much more prominent. When I grip the controller with my right hand I end up hitting those buttons inadvertently.

So back to Evil Controllers. They have a few models that are specifically modified for people with disabilities, I’m looking at their ‘Lefty’ model for the PS4 which does a number of things to get as much function as possible to the left side (swaps D pad and shape buttons, adds custom buttons to the bottom for the right triggers, etc.). It’s pretty pricey though (nearly $200), and the company’s reviews are a mixed bag of good and bad (as with many companies).

Just curious if anyone here has had any experience with them.
