I’ve been programming professionally for more than 7 years and it’s only in the last two years that I’ve had this brainworm.

Every single time I hear the term “WHERE clause” I get a mental image of a jolly old man in a red suit cackling madly as he sprouts body hair, grows evil blood-dripping fangs and nails, and starts slashing and maiming the elves in his workshop.

Anyone else feel the same or is it just me?

I’m not gonna say it is *just *you, but I’m thinking it is mostly just you.

Were you using an Orable database? Did you write the query in SQuirreL?

Technically wouldn’t a were-clause be a normal person who turns into Santa on seeing a full moon?
