Evolution for kids

Hi.

For the last half hour I’ve been scouring Google in a vain attempt to find a completely basic introduction to all things Darwinian. Knowing that a great many members of the SDMB are extremely knowledgeable on this topic I’m turning to the Teeming Millions [sup]TM[/sup] in a last ditch effort to find such an introduction.

To give you a basic idea of what I’m looking for, let me say that the best site I found was the renowned Talk Origins Archive but even this laymans guide is too advanced for my purposes.

If anyone knows of an evolutionary primer aimed at young children or those adults on the far left of the bell curve, I would be most appreciative if they could direct me to it.

Any and all help in this endeavour will be amply rewarded with copious amounts of beer/liquor/crystal meth should we ever meet at a future Dopefest.

Thanks in advance,

griffen2.

I don’t have an answer for you but I sure hope you get one. My daughter soaked up a lot of her Great Grandma’s opinions without question, and I’d sure like to see her open her mind up on this subject.

It’s strange that this would come up again so soon; there was a thread about it very recently. Please see Help Needed (Evolution for 9-year-olds).

Thanks, Roches. That’s a good thread, and I’d managed to miss it.
