Excel help

Hello,

I am horrible with excel, yet I have to use it for year end inventory. In the excel data there are blank rows every so often, and when I import the data into another program these blank rows screw up the data. Is there a macro, or some quick way that I can delete all of this blank rows? Thanks.

Select the row at the top of your data. Then click the Data menu, then Filter, then Auto-Filter. Clicking on one of the filter arrows will give you an option to filter on “non-blanks”, which will get rid of the blank rows. You can then copy and paste special into a new worksheet and export from there.

Sort the data and delete the rows.
