If I’m recording a macro, one of the steps I’d like followed is to open an add-in that then opens a .dtf data transfer file extension. I use these regularly without a macro. I’ve written the IBM system i query using an interactive form that pops up and asks for a date range, for example.
So if I record the macro doing the steps above (including opening the add-in tab, choosing the query fro a file, completing the asked-for questions from the query and hitting enter, the macro will do the other steps I’ve recorded, but not the part with the .dtf query.
