Tell me about girls’ dress sizes in the U.S. I understand that the numbers correlate to the age, but what do the letters mean: X, T, and all that.
Not sure about the X, although I think it means “just a bit larger.” For example 6X is larger than plain 6.
T stands for “toddler.” These are the in-between sizes, after they stop designating them by months, but before you get to the child sizes. Now don’t ask me what the difference between 24 months and 2T is.
Also, it may be useful to know that XS means sizes 4-5, S means 6-7, and so on.
Hmmm… IANAClothingExpert but from my experience, the difference between 24 months and 2T is that the 24 months have snaps in the crotch to make it easier to change diapers.
