Explain gyroscopic precession - I'll pay you

Feel free to move this thread to the correct forum.

Don’t bother telling me that this was already done in this thread: Bicycles with gyroscopic effect "cancelled out" I started that thread, I know too much about it.

I’ll PAY someone to tutor me through how precession works, but not on this board, where everyone who thinks they’re so awesome can’t resist the temptation to jump in. I’d even like to do a Zoom meeting if possible, so this doesn’t take 2 weeks via email.

Difficulty rating: you can’t tell me that the torque goes out the axle, or other things that are mathematical cheats to get the right answer. Your answer has to be that “this pushes here, and this forces that”, so I can throw it into my physics class, which has descended to “interesting things I can defend as sort of being physics” because of the level of students I get. You can’t just say, “but the right hand rule tells us…” That rule is a cheat to get the right answer, but is not an explanation of how the phenomenon works. Nature does not know of a right hand rule.

Objections to my request and attempts to tell me how I’m wrong will be ignored when they are put in this thread. Just stop. The fact that the physics classes teach it this way does not mean it’s the real explanation.

I can’t see any way this thread ends well.
