Explain you username

Unit. Pediatric ICU (Intensive Care Unit). I thought folks could figure at least that part out themselves. Guess not.

The ring finger is literally “unnamed” in Finnish, too.

I love trees, wood, and ancient weaponry, so my username is an obsolete Latin name for one of the greatest weapon woods in the world.

I was feeling shaky that day, and all the good variations on that were taken.

No real point to it. I used to use my real name but decided to change to something more anonymous. And I happened to be reading a collection of Little Nemo in Slumberland comics that week.

Love that stuff, bought the Flex-able (sp?) vinyl when it first came out.

For my part, I’m a tourist who got stuck here for rather longer than I’d planned.

(if you pronounce it phonetically aloud you’ll probably get it)

Vern Winterbottom is a character in the fictional New England town I’ve been writing about since 1984.

I was reading Zecharia Sitchin when first I stumbled onto this site. I thought at the time that this was a more ‘high-minded’ site than others I had seen. Enuma Elish are the first two words of the Babylonian creation epic which translate to: When in the heights…

Enuma elish la nabu shamamu
When in the heights Heaven had not been named

Shaplitu ammatum shuma la zakrat
And below, firm ground had not been called…

No real significance. It’s a Hebrew word (חזוק), variably transliterated as “chizuk” meaning “strength,” as in, “I think I’m going to fail my comprehensive exams, I need some chizuk.” I think I was feeling down or something the day I picked it.

My husband’s nickname is Ducky, so by default, I am Mrs_Ducky.

I’m a papergirl. At the retirement home I deliver to, I’m commonly known as “that little girl who brings the papers” but at 48, that seems too long and not quite accurate.

A good user name, papergirl.

Well earned.

It’s my name. Plus the numbers that yahoo games made me add to it when I decided to play chess there back in 199…8, I want to say? Definitely back in the steam powered, dial-up days of Sprint and AOL Canada.

antonio107ca, as the account originally was, no longer works. Someone hacked it. They no longer let you have five digit passwords, and so I never need to worry about ‘12345’ getting me into trouble again.

Please tell us that the new password isn’t 12345678! :stuck_out_tongue:

Honestly, I don’t think it’s even a little obscure. I think most people would know what they were if the Latin names were provided, though I don’t think they could do the reverse.

My user name is inspired by the saying “the irony is so thick that you can…” and one of the thick metallic thing I can think of is a crowbar. The “+3” is a D&D reference, referring to the enchantment level of a weapon

I love to ride my scooter any chance I get. I know that it’s not the most imaginative username, but I like it.

That’s the same password I have. Amazing!

It is my tribal name. Cash award (not really) if anyone can idenitfiy the language and translation.

Jasper is an old nickname (long story). Kent is my real first name, which I like better as a last name.
I may one day legally change my name to Jasper Kent. I think it has a nice ring to it.

I almost made my username Raymond Kertezc, after my favorite poet.
