Still developing…no word on if anyone was hurt.
A local report confirms it was a bomb.

No word yet from the FBI.
Gee, wonder who did it …
Well, seeing as how it was one of the law school buildings, I’d say it was someone who had a grudge against lawyers. Which means that something like 259 million Americans are suspects.
CNN says no-one was hurt.
Fortunately, most of the undergrad law students are finished for the year - only the grad students, profs and support staff would be around.
Bomb was in room 120 - I think I had classes in that room.
Anybody checked Ted Kaczynski’s cell lately?
Strange. Anyone who would have easy access to the room would probably also know that it would be empty, right?
It’s good that nobody was hurt, but I’m wondering what the point of bombing an empty room is.
Lead me to think it was definitely a student. Don’t think the FBI isn’t checking all the students who flunked out, didn’t pass the bar, had a grudge against a prof in that room etc…etc…
This is why I teach at a liberal arts school!
Well, nobody has claimed responsibility yet. However, both Presidents Bush were Yalies.
Fear. I can bomb an empty room. I can also do it to filled ones.
Maybe just to make a point. The bomber might not hate Yalies persay, but what Yale the university represents in his mind (I use “his” to be grammaticly correct).
Either way that’s damn scary and I hope it was just one nut with an axe to grind and not a sign of things to come.
the unibomber already bombed yale 10 years ago.
i’m glad no one was hurt this time.
in other news, in philly, the fountain in love park was turned pink. it looked really pretty. perhaps terrorists are going to turn all the fountains in the us pink.
