Exterminate this subhuman scum immediately

Muted somewhat by the Winona broo-ha-ha last week, the Wichita jury is now deliberating the fates of Reginald and Jonathan Carr on 4 counts of murder, 1 of attempted murder, rape and other charges. (The Topeka Capital Journal Online).

Back on 12/25/2000 these savage, inhuman thugs stripped, robbed, raped, shot and then ran over 5 innocent victims after making them beg for their lives in their torture spree. Amazingly, 1 of the 3 women was able to drag her naked ass through the snow for a mile all busted up with a bullet in her head and survive the ordeal.

Oh, they were stoned? I’ve smoked 5 blunts and the furthest thing from my mind is torture.

They had rough childhoods? I don’t give a crap. That’s no excuse. Maybe they should strap the parents down too for spawning such filth.

Speaking to the jury, J. Carr’s defense attorney, Ron Evans said

There is? Where? What am I not seeing here?

You don’t think they deserve the death penalty Mr. Evans? How about you have the boys move in with your family into your house after they’re released in 25 years.

Can’t they get life without parole?

Defense attorneys have to say SOMETHING. They can’t just go "yeah, he’s a scumbag, you probably should just kill his ass. They have to make at least a half-ass attempt a defense so that these two viral infections can’t get their convictions overturned on appeal. Hopefully, there will be some jail-house justice.

I am emphatically opposed to the death penalty; however, that being said, if these ass-hats were run over by a bus tomorrow, I wouldn’t be shedding any tears.

Blech.

John, you just need look closer to home. The Wendy’s massacre occured in Queens, and one of the shooters is trying desparately to avoid a death penalty. The other has life in prison without parole due to being mentally retarded.

Just to update you, the Carr brothers were both sentenced to death for the four murders they committed. They will be sentenced on the other charges tomorrow.

The world will be a better place without them.

Good.

Yes. My Dad, a defense attorney, described defending one spectacularly despicable client with this: “sometimes you get a case where you want to go into the courthouse with your coat over your head”.

I’m from Topeka, and this story has been front page news for a while. I don’t even know what it’s like in Wichita. The article linked to in the OP is somewhat condensed from what appears in the Capital-Journal today, Friday, the 15th. For example, the final paragraph in the link is actually next to last in the paper. That reads as follows: Reginald Carr appeared in court with a heavy bandage on his left hand after breaking it Thursday morning during a fight in a holding area. Authorities said he was attacked by a fellow inmate and broke the hand defending himself.

The following is an updated link to the article mentioned in the OP, and includes the paragraph I mentioned in my previous post

Burn motherfuckers burn!

“Every man’s death diminishes me, for I am involved in mankind.”

I suppose that’s true andros, but John Donne wasn’t talking about executions in that piece, he was talking about the church baptizing a child.

I’m “involved” in mankind too, but in this case I am willing to be diminished

 Fair enough. But I’m sure you’ll forgive me if I maintain my opposition to capital punishment.

No problem. Agree to disagree and all that.

If you already have a death sentence dangling in your future, isn’t any other sentence a tad redundant?..Timmy

The way it works, the jury decided that the Carrs should be put to death. It is up to the judge to either confirm that or impose a differing sentence. The sentencing hearing was for 10:00AM today, so it hasn’t been on the evening news yet. Also, the judge would begin sentencing the Carrs on the other, less lethal, charges.

No. Some idiots might overturn this verdict as these scum go through their endless appeals. The more guilty verdicts that can be heaped on them, the harder it’ll be to squirm out from under them.

Checked the website of a local television station, got this

From Baker’s link:

“Defense attorneys, pleading with the jury to show the brothers mercy, argued jurors should consider that the Carrs were the product of an abusive household, as well as the fact Reginald Carr has three young children.

They don’t need him. I mean, they need a dad, but not him.
