It didn’t hurt very much. I don’t think it could have been in there very deeply, it was so tiny.
I have an extra tooth. It is located in almost the exact center of my upper palate (middle side to side and middle front to back). It is almost completely embedded in the palate (like it hasn’t come in yet). It never will come in. Know why?
Because it’s pointed up. Yes. The root it pointed down. Every so often I get this little bump that pokes down from that spot until I scrape it off with my fingernail. I think that’s the root growing.
The dentist said it was actually not extremely rare and it wasn’t particularly harmful unless it actually started moving up, in which case it would have to be removed. Thankfully it hasn’t.
My aunt had a second set of wisdom teeth, and I have two extra on top that may or may not grow in. I sure hope not.
Yup, an extra set of canine teeth.
One set grew in over the baby teeth before the baby teeth came out, so the dentist had to pull the baby teeth. Just about a year later, I had to undergo the exact same procedure, as a third set was growing in over the second set.
