I recently saw a good A&E documentary on Ira Einhorn. For those unfamiliar with him the short story is he’s a fugitive who has been convicted of murder in absentia by a Pennsylvania court. He’s in France and the French government wouldn’t extradite him to the US because it’s unconstitutional in France to convict someone in absentia. PA then allowed him to be retried and eliminated the possibility of capital punishment, as per France’s demands. It’s still hung up in French court.
Anyway, here’s my question. Let’s say a billionare with a vigilante spirit decides to hire some thugs to go up to Einhorn’s house, bonk him on the head late at night, tie him up, pack him in a private jet, fly him across the pond and put him in a wicker basket on the doorstep of a Philly police precinct.
