I’m surprised I’m the first to mention this. Did anyone else watch it?

**Bloom: “Look, I’m number one on the list of ‘guys who girls would like to snog’. Oooh, Johnny Depp is number 4!”

Molly: “Well, not to me. Depp is number one on my list. It’s not objective, is it?”

Bloom: “Well, yeah, look. I’m number one. It says so right there. So it is objective.”**

I love this show!

This was the best episode since Patrick Stewarts.

The episode of ‘Extras’ broadcast (in the UK) on 9/14/06 featuring Orlando Bloom.

I don’t think it’s been broadcast in the US yet.

I thought it was one of the weakest episodes so far. There were far too many befuddled reaction shots from Mr. Gervais rather than funny lines. Keith Chegwin’s cameo was faintly disturbing- I think he wanted to make sure he ‘topped’ Les Dennis in the previous series, but ended up more sinister than funny.

Ashley Jensen was as charming as ever and her scenes with Orlando Bloom were pretty good. But it looks like this series is moving focus away from the life of the extras and towards the sitcom making process- that is, moving away from the comedy of the everyday and mundane, into in-joke territory. I’m not sure this is a good idea.
