Some Dopers’ FB walls are like exponential extensions of the posts we enjoy here.
Mrs. DrumBum ( 51 ) uses it to keep up with friends and family in the US. Several of our friends and family worship Palin/Beck/Limbaugh and regularly fill her wall with their craziness, which she chuckles over. I used to share the account until one night after many G&T’s, I had the temerity to question their statements. This had the predictable result that led to my banning from FaceBook, which was no real loss as far as I was concerned.
Miss DrumBum uses FB as well so that is two female users and one male banned user.
I’m a male. Same experience as you Leaffan. Furthermore, I notice that when males do participate, it is generally more to entertain and less to humblebrag.
