The thread about religion on Facebook makes me think about Facebook whiplash.
I have one “friend” (now hidden) who frequently posted on the EVILS of vaccination, the benefits of chiropractic to cure all ills, etc. Fun woman I knew years ago, I’d never had any sort of serious conversation with her - however I suspect this is not recent loopiness.
I have another friend who is an MD and firm skeptic.
They don’t know each other - even remotely - completely different circles.
One day friend one posted something about vaccination causing autism (with a link to a loopy site) and a status update from friend two appeared within an hour (unrelated) on the damage anti-vaxxers do.
So what sorts of Facebook whiplash do your friends subject you to?
