Fake Democrats lose in Wisconsin recall primary

Hopper has gone up on King by about 570 votes with 79% of precincts reporting. The Dems have to have this one; if the Dems win, the GOP can hope for a win next week.

It was more legitimate than 98 votes. It appears to have flipped, regardless.

Well, now King is up by about 100 votes.

87% of precincts reporting:

	Name Party Votes Vote %
	King , Jessica Dem 24,458 50%
	Hopper , Randy (i) GOP 24,321 50%

Dammit, I’m going to be sitting here refreshing the results every 2 minutes for the next 2 hours. I love/hate election nights.

Shilling has been declared the winner. 3 for the GOP, and 1 for the Democrats right now. 2 toss-ups left.

The tally right now is 3 - 1 GOP with two races still to be decided. Hopper/King is going right down to the wire (anyone know the political leanings of the precincts to be counted?) and Pash has about a 2,500 vote lead on Darling with 40% reporting.

Looking at HuffPo (I hate them, but whatever), early precinct counts in Washington county net about 1,400 for Darling. Early in the night, Darling had a huge lead on Pash, then Pash surged ahead to an 18% lead, now it’s 12% and looks to shrink further.

I was reading a chart today that had all the districts in question except for Kapanke’s as +3-5% Republican based off how much they deviated from the state average in the 2008/2010 elections.

Edit: Ah, here. Hopper was +5

Thanks. I find that interesting. Going by that, it’s no surprise Kapanke lost.

Also, Alberta has surged back. She’s behind by 900 or so votes now.

Edit: District 18 looks good to go to the Dems, as the final few precincts to be reported apparently lean Democrat.

I wish the Journal Sentinel would show which cities the unreported precincts are in. Huffington just said that numbers from Mequon came in big for Darling. Mequon, Germantown (already submitted), and Menomonee Falls are the 3 places I expect big numbers for Darling. If MF is still uncounted, I’d expect her to win. If not, then still a toss-up.

Here

That’s the best I could find.

Milwaukee, Ozaukee and Waukesha are yet to be fully counted. Milwaukee is the bigger and that’s the one Pash has the edge in. The other two appear to be pretty safe Republican bets. So depending on how many votes are left in each, it could go either way.

That’s good, thanks.

10 to report in Waukesha will be big for Darling, probably a sweep. 10 to report in Milwaukee, probably 7-3 or so for Pasch, and Ozaukee will lean to Darling, but I’m not sure how much.

King’s been declared over Hopper. 3-2, GOP.

Schilling and King called winners for the Dems. King took it by about 1,200 votes; expect recounts.

The only one currently up in the air is the biggie: Pasch(D) v Darling®. Only 67% of precincts reporting, Pasch is up 23451 (52%) to 21713 (48%).

Isn’t Waukesha notorious for holding back votes? Didn’t they “find” several thousand votes a few days after the polls closed that heavily favored the conservative Supreme Court candidate earlier this year? Well, it’s now being reported that Waukesha will have no results for at least an hour. Shocker.

Yep. And Kathy Nickolaus is still the county clerk there. Wonder how many votes she’ll “find” for Darling once Milwaukee County reports all of theirs?

Taken from HuffPo:

Last I checked, Pash leads Darling 23,804 to 22,693. We’ll see how it plays out.

Edit: Oh come on, guys. The election isn’t even over and you’re already going to claim foul play?

Look at the title of this thread, foul play was called a long time ago.

Well better than Republicans who call foul play before the election even starts. (See: ACORN, voter registration complaints)

Neither side is exactly squeaky clean. Anyway, from HuffPo:

Oh, come on, guy, yourself. I wouldn’t let Kathy Nickolaus count student council votes.

As a liberal who lives in Waukesha County, I simply prepare myself for any vote that goes to a Democrat to be a bonus. They’re late to report, again, and anyone should question Nicklaus’ methods, but Pasch will know not to declare until every vote’s counted.
