There are many videos on YouTube with one talking head or another “reporting” that PM Carney held a press conference where he, basically, told Trump to “shove it” over conditions for opening the Howe bridge. One said all the major networks were there covering it. The funny thing is that I can’t find a single video or story anywhere showing this alleged presser.
I also stumbled across two different commentators using virtually the exact same script. One was an older while guy and the other a white female. Finally, there is someone/something using the name Bradley Madden spouting all kind of anti-Trump stuff. (Not that I have any problem with that.) I can’t find anything on her and doubt if it is a real person. Is all this stuff AI and bots of some sort? Plenty of people leave comments as if they were real.
No different than people commenting on AI and other forms of fake ‘news’ on Facebook & other unworthy, usually social media, sources. If you want news you need to go to reliable news sources, although finding one that isn’t skewed too far one way or the other is becoming increasingly difficult.
Re the bridge in question. Trumps claims are false, but we all know better than to trust anything that comes from his mouth, or should.
Carney and Trump had a telephone talk, after Trump made his idiotic post about the bridge. Afterward Carney told the press in diplomatic language that Trump’s “facts” were as idiotic as I say. That is on video. Is the CBC a good source?
I’m unclear what you think is fake. Obviously Carney didn’t literally say “shove it,” but anyone knowledgeable knows that’s exactly what he did.
