Oops did you lose something?
I think this had to be a former Loomis employee to know their money transfer routine this well. It’ll be interesting to see how this story unfolds in the next few days.

Must be in the last day of his Groundhog Day experience. Hope he gets the girl tonight so he can get on with his life…
local news has photo of the man and his car.

His outfit doesn’t look much like the Brinks security uniforms I’ve seen. I’ve seen Brinks guards and their truck at Kroger a couple times. I’m not familiar with Loomis.
I was about to say that there has to be some great security footage of this guy.
I could see him passing as a pick-up guard if I stretch it a little. More likely it was doing it at the right time and place and knowing where to go. Someone somewhere had to have some serious insider info.
It’s gotta suck to have a black, tinted-window Malibu in that area these days?
How many times do you think the guy/gal who looks nothing like the person in the surveillance photo is going to be pulled over in a felony stop just because they have a similar car?
Maybe not.
I recall a late ‘70s robbery of a Sears store in suburban Philadelphia by a local high school principal (Jay Smith) who posed as a Brinks’ guard and got away with $50,000 (a followup robbery attempt using the same M.O. was unsuccessful). The crimes were later detailed in Joseph Wambaugh’s book (and a TV series), “Echoes In The Darkness”.
Couldn’t have happened to a more deserving company.
Ten minutes income shot to hell.
You have to love the stones on this guy! Part of me wants to believe that since he was voluntarily given the money that he shouldn’t be held accountable! For God’s sake, the person who gave him the money should be held partly accountable!
