There are several official-looking memes circulating right now stating that a super-virulent strain of Ebola (in some areas) or anthrax (in other areas) has contaminated the local supply of methamphetamine, and the police want people to bring their supply in so it can be tested before they use it.

One of my Facebook friends seemed to think it was for real, and I replied, “Where would a meth maker even GET Ebola virus or B. anthracis in the first place?” :rolleyes:

It was on the news in my area, Eastern Missouri. I can’t believe anyone would fall for it.

Never overestimate the intelligence of criminals. Through the years, countless police agencies have run “You won a free TV!” type stings to get people with outstanding warrants.
