Fallout 3 faults.

Only to the ones who don’t stand up to 'em. They’re terrorized by the Muties.

The way I saw it was: The point of the story is that you’ve been born as a particular person, who’s father happens to be something of a Hero, so it’s inevitable you’re going to be the next Hero (or anti-hero if that’s your choice).

I agree that there should be a select few people who are as badass as you, to add a bit more of a challenge. I agree that you being the ONLY ‘super’ character is bad. But I don’t think the place should be littered with players as good as you. It should be the case that you work your way up to being one of the select few really-good characters.

On the VATS thing. OK it’s good that you’re not so vulnerable, but your partner is. While your character is blisfully watching his or her handiwork, your mutt or (rubbish, with the exception of Fawkes) partner is still being attacked.

I know you can send dogmeat back to 101 to wait for you. But there’s a strange part of me that doesn’t feel right doing that. I have this image of the dog sat waiting (if you don’t have Broken Steel) forever for a master who will never come back.

You realise they made VATS like that for a reason , they called it semi-turned based! Meaning, you really had to plan your attacks!
