They just announced today the release of the construction kit in December and the first DLC in January.
Sweet!
I’m guessing a Behemoth was involved. There’s also a random encounter with a patrolling Paladin who gets killed by the first powerful foe he runs across.
Is it any better than the power armor you get off the other dead brotherhood or outcast guys? I’ve found several sets of both. I heard there is a special set in one of the museums in DC but not sure where it is.

No, that would be the Enclave’s Tesla Armor.
I believe you’re thinking of the one in Fort Constantine; there’s another of the same class in Old Olney.
Haven’t been to Fort Constantine yet (last night was a side trip to recover the Declaration of Independence) but the only thing I’ve seen in Old Olney is ruined buildings and deathclaws. Someone up thread mentioned a sewer but I haven’t seen it. None of the buildings seem accessible.

The suit in Old Olney is a different type than Fort Constantine.
Same class though, meaning one can be used to repair the other.
Have you checked the sewer?
Haven’t found them. Was in town last night early on but got jumped by 3 deathclaws and died so went back to an earlier saved game and decided to do the Declaration quest instead. That took me the bulk of the rest of the night. Got a really nice wig out of the quest though.
Any one know what turning on the backup Jefferson robot is supposed to do? The robot guarding the Declaration wanted me to go on some quest to get ink gall, but I’ve already maxed out at 20 so I didn’t see the point when I was alreayd there…so I just used the rocket launcher to kill the turrets from the robot room then killed the guardian, looted the key and got the vault open with the Declaration in it.

Mea Culpa
I hadn’t really paid attention to realize there were two flavors of scorpion. I just knew that I’d get more poison glands off some than others. But I haven’t had to use explosives on one since way early in the game.
I’m using the Xuanlong Assault Rifle in perfect condition and I almost always finish off the giant with one clip. So that would be 9 shots from VATS and 27 iron sights.
I also have entymologist and bloody mess increasing my damage.
And a hint for everyone repairing items with limited spare parts.
Vendors don’t need spares to effect repairs, so get one to fix it as high as they can before you use your own stock to finish it.
I did the Reilly’s Rangers quest last night, and found something I’d previously missed. In one of the rooms there’s a holotape from ‘Little Moonbeam’s Father’. Any ideas if this leads to anything?
Non-spoiler: Hold on to it. You might be able to give it to someone later.
From http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Reilly's_Rangers_(quest):
The holotape for relic-hunter Sydney from her father called “A Note from Little Moonbeam’s Father” is on the same floor that you come to as soon as you get off the elevator from the restaurant. Returning it to Sydney will result in the acquisition of Sydney’s 10mm “Ultra” SMG.
Oh yeah, there’s another named Power Armor in the game. Branchtender Linden has it and will give it to you if you speed Harold’s growth. This one is basically the same as standard Power Armor but also gives a +5 to Big Guns.
Or you could just let her die and then loot it. That’s what ended up happening to me. Didn’t seem to affect the quest at all.

Edit: damn… multiple simulpost.
Yeah, what they said.
Small guns on a hundred they die with like four shots from a sniper to the head (all the critical perks too, tho, and a seven luck…)
I’m trying not to use my sniper rifle much these days as I have no spares to repair the one I have…and the various merchants don’t repair it very well (only slightly over 50%). I’ve been unable to find anyone who has any for sale and coming across a mob with one is pretty rare these days.
Unless someone has a location where there are some to be had I doubt I’ll use it except for those necessary long range engagements. It’s a shame as it’s a pretty lethal long range killer.

Have you talked to Uncle Roe in Canterbury Commons about Lucky Harith increasing his inventory?
I think this explains it.
I am pretty sure I don’t have mine set on hard.
