Seriously, can we link to the next game from the previous thread? I somehow never notice the new games when they first go up.
Hmmm. 42 points, aka “Life the Universe and Everything” What I want to find out is who are the other pikers who picked 7?!
I decided it would be more dramatic if I had them shut off the board while I added up the scores.

Ouch. From 1st, to 2nd to last. BAH!
If it makes you feel any better, if Hal Briston had gotten his answers in on time he would have only scored 5 points.
Man, I didn’t do well. Why can’t I pick the popular answers in the games that need them, and the unpopular answers in this one?
Oh well. It was different, I must say, and fun too. Thanks for running it, Little Nemo!
I would like to hear what people were thinking when they guessed their answers. Did you have a strategy or did you just wing it? Were their answers that you consciously avoided because you thought they’d be too popular? Were their answers that surprised you?
I think it’s ironic that Justin Bailey, who didn’t even know what the rules were when he made his choices, did so well.
I didn’t do very well here. I think a problem is that when a lot of people try to think of a “second-most-popular” answer, that ends up being the most popular. I know I wrote Eric Idle because I thought the most popular Monty Python member would be John Cleese.
I decided that I’d start the next game myself, rather than being the type who complains but does nothing about it.
Tied for 2nd?!?!?! W00t!!!
Ditto- I wrote Lestat because I thought Dracula would be number 1!
I was thinking that since most people would probably avoid the most obvious answer, that’s the one I picked and hoped that enough people would think the same way. It paid off.
Tied for 24th! Woo hoo!

I won?
I won! IwonIwonIwon! dances around the room
And tied for lucky 13th, best score yet. Clearly I’m better at guessing seconds than firsts.
Good game, thanks.
Crud,
Eric Idle, because of course everyone would pick John Cleese.
Lestat, because of course everyone would pick Dracula.
Rook, because of course everyone would pick Queen.
GWB isn’t in his own cabinet? That’s just weird.
Though I’m glad I’m not the only one (by a long shot) who picked an Oscar winner that wasn’t an Oscar winner.
That was fun. Thanks.
