Famous Triplets...

Well, one of the Dahm triplets is married to Dr. Phil’s son and if being in-laws to Dr. Phil doesn’t make you famous, what does?

Having a Sith Lord as your father’s brother’s nephew’s cousin’s former roommate.

I just can’t deal with it right now. Nothing matters.

The Haden Triplets. Daughters of jazz musician Charlie Haden.

In the movie world, Shrek and Fiona had triplets, and the 80s movie “Raising Arizona” was about identical quintuplet boys, one of whom was kidnapped.

Dr. Drew has triplets.

We’re cool.

Some individually famous people who are one of a set of triplets:
[ul]
[li]Oscar Castro-Neves, guitarist[/li][li]Roly Bain, priest-clown (yes, really)[/li][li]James Huckle, sport shooter[/li][li]Eme Ikwaukor, actor[/li][li]Eino Puri, soccer player[/li][li]Lowri Turner, TV presenter[/li][li]Tony O’Reilly, Jr., businessman[/li][li]William Thompson, boxer[/li][li]Vigleik Trygve Sundt and Halfdan Sundt, politicians[/li][li]Kathleen O’Meara, politician[/li][li]Petr Čech, soccer player[/li][li]Chris Jamison, singer[/li][li]Zach Redmond, hockey player[/li][/ul]

There’s a set of triplets that all made the 2016 Olympics in swimming too.

Well given that they were purposefully separated from birth and adopted to different families along with several other twins and triplets so that they could be studied after their separation, the odds that there are others is pretty high.

Thanks! I know Petr Cech well, but had no idea.

So does Elon Musk. He also has twins; all 5 kids are from his ex-wife and all were conceived using fertility treatments.

I remember when that separated-triplets story was in the news. There were rumors that there was a quadruplet who didn’t want to go public, but that was not true.

p.s. (may not make the deadline)

IIRC, Dr. Drew’s triplets were naturally conceived, a 1-in-7,700 longshot.

Until recent decades, if a woman had a multiple pregnancy that she was not going to keep, it was routine to separate them, so more families would get a baby. Yeah, that caused a lot of problems.

Denial

Anger

Bargaining

WTF?!?!?! You went straight to acceptance, but totally skipped depression?!? That makes me so fucking depressed :frowning:

Post #23. Which was quoted in posted #27, which you quoted, so I’m not sure how you missed it.

I don’t know how I missed it either! It’s possible I’m stuck in denial, or perhaps I’ve had too much to drink :frowning:

This was a fascinating documentary (now available on Amazon). It’s only an hour and a half and is interesting on many levels.

That’s okay. No one here ever reads my posts. Or notices me. I’ll just be by myself over in the corner until it’s time to go.

SO depressing :(:(:frowning:

I just learned about this guy recently, and remembered this thread.

For a certain value of “famous”, consider Petrus Nordin, who was notable as a circus giant in Sweden in the late 19th and early 20th century. His two brothers did not share his gigantism, and were not performers.
