I have gotten an E-mail from my UK colleagues and they are informing me of “Fantasy Football” starting up. Directing me to a webpage:: BBC

My question is, Who invented Fantasy football. Was it the Americans or the Brits? When was it invented? I know ESPN has a fantasy football as well.

There was a program on BBC TV called ‘Fantasy Football’ as far back as 1994, which was basically a fantasy football league with celebrities as managers. This is the first time I recall hearing about fantasy league football in the UK.
