El Dorado - The Gilded One (it’s a county in California)
There are two charming little villages in the Cotswolds (UK) called Upper and Lower Slaughter.
Well, the full name of Los Angeles is El Pueblo de Nuestra Señora la Reina de los Ángeles del Río de Porciúncula, or in English: “The Town of Our Lady the Queen of Angels of the Porciúncula River.” That sounds pretty fairy-tale to my ears.
That reminds me of Great Snoring in North Norfolk.
