Funny article. Interesting to me that bovine tuberculosis is still a problem, as I thought pasteurization took care of it. Both of my grandmother’s sisters died in their teens from it back in the first decade of the 20th century.
To quote someone on another board:

The BNP are terrified of seeing black and white close together, hence the massive phobia of badgers.

It’s still a problem for the cattle.
Which, of course, requires this link.
The BTB isn’t infecting humans, it’s infecting cattle, which costs large sums of money to the nation’s farmers. Who, therefore, want the little buggers slaughtered. It works fine in Ireland, although our government’s ideas of how to do it are much less competent and might well make the problem worse. Nonetheless, the badgers need killing. What it’s got to do with the BNP, I don’t know.
All-riight. I never caught that the first time I saw UHF. Makes me wonder what else I missed. …may have to find a Blockbuster somewhere, and hope the Blockbuster has the VHS of UHF in stock…wish me luck.
