Sad news from the world of cattle breeding. Toystory, a truly prolific breeding bull has gone to that big pasture in the sky. I guess this is big news for the Wisconsin Dopers who likely got the day off and had flags flown at half mast, but I was surprised that the WSJ covered this story. It does not seem like the kind of news story I would expect them to cover but I’ll raise a bottle of beer and eat some seafood tonight in remembrance of a real stud. ![]()
I don’t think half mast is appropriate.
I pass the ABS location whenever I go to visit my folks in Milwaukee.
Farewell to Toystory. I think we can safely say he had a long and hard, but happy, life.
Regards,
Shodan
I’d think having a good steak would be a better way to mourn his passing.

At around $60 per straw of “seed” and over 2,000,000 sold, that bull brought in well over one hundred million dollars. Sounds like a WSJ story to me!
