I went to a fashion show at Chicago’s Green Dolphin Street. This was my first fashion show evah. My kid did some runway slides and there was some other art for sale there. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. They had salsa dancers, a band, etc. But most of the dresses were crocheted, in the same fashion your grandmother’s afghans were crocheted. Some were ok; others, not so much. The yarn was too heavy for the strapless, bare designs. They were very open patterns.
Did anyone here catch the show? Would you wear a dress that looks exactly like a crocheted afghan? Discuss.
