I was just doing a search for a couple of subjects. I was suprised at how quickly the engine returned results. Now, granted I’m on cable and a pretty quick machine, but was something done during the conversion to make the search engine faster, or am I just on at a slow time for the board and thus realizing quicker results.
Enquiring minds want to know…
The board as a whole is lightning fast tonight. For now I’ll just assume that you and I are the only two nuts up this late and this is normal for the server at 2:26 am. Let’s hope it lasts!
Things are going well right now (cross fingers). I agree with Ruby – faster access to pages, including the search function, usually means there’s a lighter load on the server just then.
