I read once that, during WW II, fighter pilots were on a strict diet because if they got gas in flight they could be injured or possibly die because the pressure. The problem is that it didn’t really go into it. What would happen if they farted? What was on their diet?
The Great White Shark has circled around this question once or twice, but didn’t swallow it whole.
Do you toot more at high altitude?
Does suppressing the urge to toot endanger one’s health?
And later, Cecil dispensed with the flowery language:
Everything you ever wanted to know about farts
If you burp, fart, and sneeze at the same time, will you die?
That should help some. Perhaps we could encourage our pal David Simmons to give us some insight. I seem to recall he flew bombers back in those days.
