That is a great sweet song.

A list of Motown songs

I just thought of an 80’s cover song that I have always liked more than the original. I think it was by Robert Palmer. ** Sea of Love. ** I think that is the title.

Both of those stories are so incredibly cool. I’m smiling and tearing up at the same time just thinking about it and I don’t even know you guys.

Don’t let others tell you what you should or need to do, is all the advice I have. Screw tradition, do what feels right to you. And have a lovely time.

Whatever you do, stay away from Afternoon Delight. It starts off cute…

Except the Chicken Dance. Can’t leave that out. Or the Macarena, either.

No. No. No! When my best friend got married, I told her that, while I’d do anything for her, I would not be in the room for the Chicken Dance and I kept my word. I watched it from the doorway. If I’m fortunate enough to marry, while there may well be chicken at the wedding and I might even feel a bit chicken on the day thereof, there will be no Chicken Dance!

What do you folks think of Rod Stewart’s Forever Young for this?
