He’s around. Just a couple minutes ago in GQ, he posted the following nonsensical babble in response to a poster asking how to start his own country:

I mean he seems like a nice kid and all, but geez. Bad WAGs and jokes aren’t entirely forbidden in GQ, but when that’s all you do, it does tend to get annoying and make the SDMB seem like the plethora of bad message boards that I come here to avoid.
I believe Tripler is well past his teen years. Still a young pup, by my reckoning, but adult.
And yeah, fauxpas is living up to the name.

fauxpas’ answer, although not th’ usual standard we seem to have around here, wasn’t actually that far off base.
Ah, okay. I was having trouble assembling that group of words into anything coherent. It does sort of make sense, but isn’t very helpful.
Well, let me give a different example, then. In the GQ asking why someone would need Gigabit Ethernet in their home, fauxpas inexplicably answered:
Make some sense of that!
He also must not be aware that Science and Tech. stocks suck ass now.
I think what he’s not aware of is that Ethernet isn’t even a company! It’s a network access method, like Token Ring.

Posters like monica prove that teenagers can be coherent, insightful contributors to this board. They have a fresh way of viewing the world and can see things from angles no longer open to us closed-minded older folks…as long as they can keep the " l33t " factor under control.
Am I the only one here who is glad posters like these populate this message board? I mean, come on, what else would we be doing really if they weren’t around for us to bitch about their vague grasp on the concept of grammar, or their total incoherence? Oh yeah, a thoughtful discussion of interesting and engaging topics. Carry on.

And no, that is not what “non-existant towards you” means. In fact, such a phrase is not generally accepted to exist in the English language. Non-existant means “does not exist,” and can not be “towards” anything. “I do not exist in your general direction,” is the direct meaning of the phrase. Thus endeth the lesson.
I feel I should specify, lest you take things the wrong way, that I have nothing against you. I’m certainly not attempting to personally target you for anything. Chalk my second appearance in your threads up to coincidence more than any plan.
