Favorite 80s song to sing in the shower

The Bangles’ version of Hazy Shade of Winter.

Down On Skid Row (or was it just Skid Row?) from the 80s remake of Little Shop of Horrors.

Lately, I’ve been singing Oh Christmas Tree, only doo-doot-doo-doo-ing instead of, y’know, words.

hmph. Lately, it’s been:

Slide it in - Whitesnake
Hunger strike - Temple of the Dog
The screaming part in Stairway to Heaven

Or countless AC/DC songs (mostly just the choruses).

Heat of the Moment - Asia
Drinking and Driving - Black Flag
Are We Ourselves - The Fixx
Too Fast For Love - Motley Crue
Big Dumb Sex - Soundgarden
Am I Evil - Diamond Head (made famous by Metallica)
Where Eagles Dare - Misfits (That could have been anywhere from '77 to '83, but…screw it, I’m putting it  )

“The Metro” by Berlin
“If You Leave” by OMD

It varies and is usually something by Duran Duran. Lately, it’s been

The Chauffeur by Duran Duran

U Got the Look by Prince

Red Skies by The Fixx

Candy, by Iggy Pop, backed up by Kate Pierson
Don’t Want To Know If You Are Lonely, Husker Du

My SIL told me my brother sings Take On Me (by A-Ha).

Susan

“Don’t You Want Me Baby” by The Human League. Awww yeah.

The other day, for no reason whatsoever that I could discern, I found myself belting out “Could’ve Been” by Tiffany.

Yes, I am ashamed.

Did the actual music video have the same scenes as the opening and closing credits of her “Tracey Takes On…” series? because the old woman falling down is her Ruby Romaine character

80’s - i can’t think of any
70’s - even tougher to recall
but 60’s? “One Less Bell To Answer” by the 5th Dimension

I don’t know… I was pretty young. I’ve never seen any of Tracy Ullman’s shows (including The Tracy Ullman Show). My parents were avid fans of hers, though, as I remember, so I could ask my mother. They were quite excited when the Simpsons got their own show.

Or, somoene else in this thread who’s seen both the video for “They Don’t Know” and one of her shows could answer the question better than I could, and you wouldn’t have to wait for my mum.

To Be With You - Mr Big?? (“I’m the one who wants to be with you, deep inside I know you feel it too (feel it toooo)”… aww, yeah.

Particular favorites of mine are
Lovin Touchin Squeezin by Journey
You Say He’s just a Friend by ??
Heavens On Fire by Kiss

Very good!

Will try it next shower.

Bicycle Built For Two

Oh, wait. You mean the nineteen eighties. :smack:

Biz Markie.

Love Is A Battlefield - Pat Benetar

Not from the '80s, but I was singing “How Lovely to be a Woman” from Bye Bye Birdie (Ann-Margret movie version) this morning while I was getting dressed. And of course it segued into “Gotta Lotta Living to Do”.
