Least favorite would be about 95% of the rest, though I’d probably have to pick Ke$ha overall - I expect people like Tony Orlando & Dawn and Captain & Tennille to put out schlocky crap, but someone supposedly media-savvy should never suck that hard.
This is really tough. I like, to varying degrees, most of the songs here. I don’t get the problem with “My Sharona” or “Tik Tok” or even “Sugar, Sugar” by the cartoon band The Archies. I think that’s a fun pop song, personally.
My favorites would probably be “When Doves Cry,” “Yeah,” the Beatles entries minus “Hey Jude,” “Bridge Over Troubled Waters,” the Elvis ones, and Blondie.
The ones I loathe the most would probably be “Boom Boom Pow.” Although “Tie A Yellow Ribbon around the Old Oak Tree” and the Captain & Tenille one would be up there, too.
Thank you for providing a link to that list! I loved seeing my most favorite singer James Otto and his song named “I Just Got Started Loving You” listed as the #1 country song of 2008.
God bless you and him always!!!
Holly
P.S. My most favorite rock song from that list is that “Everything I Do (I Do It For You)” song.
