Favorite Bible Verse

I have long been partial to the 23rd Psalm (the Lord is my shepherd), but have recently reread the 4th Chapter, 7th verse of the Second Book of Timothy:

“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith”
Any favorites?

I know you’re trying to be cute but that’s kind of threadshitting, isn’t it? Just about as nice as coming into a discussion about the best rap songs and saying “ALL RAP SUCKS!”

What sort of emissions testing did they have on horses back in the Iron Age anyway?

Apparently enough to tell the difference between how much comes out of a donkey as compared to a horse.

I don’t normally use the KJV but that just happens to be the version I know this verse in.

This should be the official Bible Verse of the SDMB! Proverbs 16:16, King James Version.

“How much better is it to get wisdom than gold! and to get understanding rather to be chosen than silver!”
