I have the ability to work from home. Since most of the work is done on my laptop, I have the ability to put the distractions of home aside and go to cafes such as starbucks or border’s books and do my work for a few hours.
Lately, I’ve been getting sick of the same “starbucks” colors and I’ve been desiring a change in atmosphere. I have the Verizon service which allows me to access broadband internet with a PC card… Previously I had the T-Mobile wireless service which was just a money-pit.
So, now that I have no strings attached, I’m looking for a coffee shop/cafe environment in the suburbs of Chicago (Preferably West - South) in which there is a spacious environment, welcoming atmosphere and comfortable seating in which I can sit in for a couple of hours, drink coffee and get my work done. I have heard good things about Wheaton’s coffee shops but do not know anything about them.
What do you recommend? Details?
