The acronym ones.
“Fornication Under the Commission of Kings”
“Gentleman Only Ladies Forbidden”
“WithOut Pass”
“To Insure Promptness”
“Constable On Patrol”
All vehemently argued to me at some point.

And they’re Neil Diamond’s sons.
That’s just ridiculous. It’s Rob Stone (the oldest son from ‘Mr. Belvedere’) who became Marilyn Manson.
82% of all statistics are made up.
Moderator note: You’re entitled to your opinions, but whether alcoholism is a disease or not, or whether a three-month fetus is a human being is a matter of heated debate which decades, nay, generations of debate has not been able to resolve conclusively. The greater part of available evidence suggests that homosexuality is innate, at least partly. The opinions you despise are anything but trivia, and to drive-by post the above in this thread, which is about trivia specifically, is being a jerk. Don’t do this again.
As for the other opinions expressed here, I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many group insults in a single post.
Actually, GG Allin was the real deal.
The second full moon of a calendar month is traditionally called the blue moon.
This is now my favorite bit of false trivia.
Since approximately half of African Americans are female, I suppose it is a false statement.
Having big feet means you have a big penis.
Maybe Frank Zappa ate a petard on stage ![]()
Since another moderator already made an official comment on this one (and this isn’t my forum anyway), I’ll just say that either (a) you didn’t read the OP carefully, or (b) you have some interesting beliefs.
The OP says, “Whats the best trivia you’ve heard that isn’t true but it should be.” (italics mine)
My dad once informed me as though it were fact that Will Ferrell was the son of Mike Farrell, whom he told me was the guy who played Trapper John on MAS*H. The thing is, he had actually mixed up Mike Farrell (who, as you can see, actually played B.J. Hunnicutt) and Wayne Rogers, who does look an awful lot like Will Ferrell
Where’s the false part?
Traditionally, the Blue Moon was the third full moon in a season with four full moons. The modern notion that it is a second full moon in a calendar month arises from a misunderstanding.Informative article.
Still doesn’t make the modern definition “false.” It just supplanted the original meaning.
