A second of Beagle’s recommendation of Marie Sharp’s. Excellent sauce. My brother brought me some back from Belize, and I’ve loved it ever since.
I also picked up some Pusser’s hot sauce down in St. John that I enjoy.
Sriracha is wonderful. So is the sambal oelek chili paste manufactured by the same company. I’ve never been a big Tobasco fan. Louisiana hot sauce is all right, especially the red, but Texas Pete will always be my favorite.
The most overlooked comment in this thread might well turn out to be the one above, lest you take notice of it now.
This is absolutely one of the greatest things to happen to food that I know of. This stuff is great on everything from hotdogs to nachos, chicken, hot wings, burgers, etc. It has the consistency of a thick mustard…not a watery sauce.
It has flavor…and the kick builds as you eat it. Very addictive and hot sauce lovers swear by it. It’s a must have because it is so diffferen than the rest.
Here’s a link to what the bottle looks like. Unique sauce, unique consistency, unique heat/flavor, unique variety of uses.
