This one, Steve Davis making the first televised maximum break and Zlatan Ibrahimovic making half a team look like bowling pins.
Also, from the 2006 Olympics final: Forsberg to Sundin to Lidström. About 1 minute in. From the 2003 World Championships in Prague, quarterfinals. Comeback from 5-1 to win 6-5.
For the tennis fans, Stefan Edberg versus um, someone.
As a proud San Diegan, I can assure you that they have not yet moved the Golden Gate bridge down to my neck of the woods.
Dude, that post is not only (presumably) gross, but just hijacked my browser.
What? I found it on another board that I frequent every day and none of us had any problems.
Sorry.
Maybe it’s allergic to coal-powered computers.
I just clicked it again…no prob.
Anyway, anyone named Ostragoth has got to be from Norway, and you guys are supposed to know better about pollution…
And yes, the video is disgusting, yet captivating.
I couldn’t help but imagine my Stretch Armstrong “doll” from when I was a child…
Barry Sanders, Jr. has an amazing high school football run.
As a college umpire, this is one of my favorites. Arkansas versus Old Miss. Arkansas catcher Brian Walker is up to bat and fakes getting hit by a pitch. The ump says no he didn’t get hit, and makes him stay at bat. The next pitch Brian Walker strikes out then pokes the bat at the ump and gets ejected.
What an infant! Still, I guess it does take some gumption to be genuinely outraged at the ump because you didn’t get away with the fake and lash out at him as if it were HIS fault!
There was another link on that same page that is just incredible, from Japanese baseball.
What an amoral, cheating bastard…and bad actor.
Certainly a neat little pitch, with a very generous strike call to boot.
The Seahawks’ (and WVU’s) “Runaway Beer Truck”, Owen Schmitt, takes his frustrations out on his helmet.
Owen Smash!
And it is too hard to search for the best videos through yahoo(at the office), but anything from the peak of the Colorado Avalanche (>) Detroit Redwings rivalry. Try looking for “Roy Osgood” or “Roy Vernon”.
I think you phrased this much better and far more accurately than I did!
Previously discussed at some length here. I’m pretty sure that video is not of an actual pro game in Japan but a comedy bit of some sort.
