German words are funny. We were on a family trip to Germany in 1983, and my brother and I (we were 12 and 10, respectively) noticed an elevator button that, when you pushed it, would light up with the inscrutable, hilarious words:
AUFZUG FAHRT
I assume it means something like “the elevator’s coming” or “today Poland,” but we couldn’t stop saying it for weeks. “Aufzug fahrt! Aufzug fahrt!”
I’m at work. I clicked that, and instantly afterwards but before the page loaded, my brain informed me what “Gummi” means. Rubber. Nurse. Rubber nurse. Oh sh*t. I also then saw the URL of the page that was about to appear. :smack:
Fortunately it’s pretty SFW as far as rubber nurses go…
