Yay! That was a sweet story. 
One of our cats got lost outside one winter, and was gone for 3 or 4 days in very snowy conditions. I remember how I almost fell down in relief when he finally showed up again. What these people felt must have been 10 times that.

Ohhhhhhh, poor sweet pup. Lucky she found some dog lovers. It’s not everyone who would carry somebody else’s 30-pound dog 3 miles with smiles on their faces. I cannot imagine the joy and relief of her owners, and how grateful they must be toward her rescuers. I would never feel that I had thanked them enough.
