It seems to me that you are projecting some of your internal prejudices on to me so as to avoid dealing with them yourself. Disagreeing with you does not mean someone hates your race. If you disagree, please tell me exactly what I said that could be considered even close to prejudicial. I think you will find that task impossible.
As I stated in the other thread, I restrained myself from starting a pit thread about that comment. However, I can’t say I am displeased that malkavia did. Feisty, you’re a bigoted idiot. The truly sad part is I think that on some level you may be bigoted toward your own race.
I believe avolonian and I think in situations such as this. Your accusations did not anger me all that much because I simply shrugged them off. Your comments were more than unfounded and baseless; they were completely out of the blue and say more about you than me. I don’t know what problems you have in your personal life, but whatever they are, they’re not relevant to GD discussions.

But when a freak like that recommends them, I have to think twice about reading them.
When we had that Stormfront hubbub a while back, I wandered over there to see what kind if idiots we were dealing with. Along with the Fabio\Conan-ized avatars, there were an awful lot of sigs dealing with Aragorn’s promise to not let the White City fall. They’ve managed to convince themselves that Tolkien supported their premise and the whole Ring tale is some elaborate manifesto on the superiority of the white man.

Check the notes in the front of the book where the author explicitly denies any hidden messages or the use of allegory. If that doesn’t help, go buy a sheet and hood. What I still don’t understand is what his point was.
His first words when he joined this thread were: “Fuck you all”. Talk about making an entrance! After that none of what he said seemed to make any sense, despite me repeatedly asking him to explain his point.
I expect Feisty will be pleased with Kingship rampaging through his pit thread - it makes him seem like a easy-going, reasonable sort of guy!
Actually, I suspect that you can discern the poverty of his ideas in that he had to quote the movie, not Tolkien, himself.
I also think Feisty will be pleased with Kingship as the paranoid voices in his head will be validated. He’ll stand around pointing and say “See! See! I told you so! People in Amerca hate me.”
Actually, I suspect Feisty’s right. There are probably lots of people in the US that avoid him like a plague of boils. Where he’s wrong is in thinking that it’s due to his race. What would really irritate him is living in an Asian country where they would also consider him a jerk.
Kingship is probably just some country boy that has collected a really bad set of friends and doesn’t get out much. With luck, he’ll grow up some day although the indications are against it.

I had to laugh when I read some of the comments in this thread it was so far off base. The only reason I thought to look in this particular forum is that someone else I knew mentioned it. The reality of it is some of your comments in this thread only confirmed my belief that there does seem to be some type of racist attitude towards asians in general. As soon as I spoke my mind on what I thought of the whole thing my post was quoted out of context and attacked by every ludicrous angle. I was accused of being racist against “whites” (classic reverse racism angle) and then denigrated as being a chauvinist pig (i’m not the least bit chauvinist.) These are just typical stereotyped attributes that some white people choose to put on asians. The sneaky oriental charlie chan white hater role that you’ve tried unsuccessfully to pigeonhole me into. Of course you’ll probably all chime in and support each other but I sort of expect that too.
The funny thing is, i’d say in real life I have a good cross section of friends that are of all races. I’m not biased against whites or anyone else. However, I have observed a large percentage of racist attitudes against me are perpetrated by whites. Coincidence? I think not. Judging by the lashing and ganging up on me on this board I think it’s fairly typical. As soon as someone that’s not supposed to speak up (asian man) does it’s automatically deflected and spat upon in a desperate attempt to maintain the status quo.
That’s fine with me though, and friends wonder why I often carry a firearm. It’s just not safe being asian in the U.S.
