Fellow atheists: help me explain to believers that our morality is NOT faith based.

No, no, that’s only dogma in Cthulhuism, not Yog Sothothism.

Oh, come on! Yog Sothothism is merely a sect of Cthulhuism, formed in protest against the corrupt practices of the Roman Cthulhuic Church when Richard Upton Pickman nailed a copy of the Necronomicon to the door of the administration building at Miskatonic University.

They still share the same basic beliefs; the only difference is that Roman Cthulhuics believe that the actual physical bodies of the worshippers get eaten, while Yog Sothothirans maintain that only the essential intelligence and individual personality is consumed. And that’s practically a difference without a distinction.

That and the fact that Sothothirans reject the Cthulhuic practice of venerating Dagon (although they do accord [del]him[/del] [del]her[/del] it great respect).

:dubious:

See, this is why nobody takes you seriously when you talk about religion.

No no NO! Let me clear this up once and for all! The main difference between Cthulhuism and Yog Sosothism is whether we should dip people in ketchup or mustard before eating you. That’s it! :smack:

Just a friendly hint: the cannibal nickname for human flesh is “long pig.” So, two words:

Apple. Sauce.
