Another good question… Is Torg supposed to be a Coalition Deadboy in his halloween costume? I think the Rifts RPG universe changed them to something that looks like that recently.

I think that Torg is a Necromancer from Diablo 2.

Most of the Sluggy main characters were Diablo 2 characters; I don’t play D2 but there was a lot of talk about it on the Sluggy Discussion Forums. It’s interesting that a lot of the costumes match the characters:
Riff-Paladin (Righteous hero)
Crystal-Sorceress (Maker of Potions)
Gwynn-Amazon (Ass-kicking woman)
Bert-Druid (In touch with nature)
BunBun-Barbarian (I think you can figure this out)
Sasha-Assassin (She zapped Aylee… other than that, I dunno)
Torg-Necromancer (Saved by the ghost)
Angela-Andarial (or something. A demon from Diablo 2. The Maiden of Pain or some such)

Small note- Paladin’s are supposed to have a cross on their armor. Riff actually has a symbol for Chaos from, um, a different game. He’s Jewish and anyway Chaos is more his style.
