Now, I know the Fermi’s Paradox has been done to death, on these, and just about every other board. So I want to make clear that this is not just an average one of those, all over again.
It’s just I’ve noticed that here, and other places too as I’ve said, they never seem to consider some type of Galactic Prime Directive as a possible solution. At least not seriously. So this thread will be devoted to that. Deviate from that explanation, if you must. But do so only briefly. Understand

And yes I know that the Prime Directive is a fictional plot device from Star Trek. But like much of the fictional Star Trek universe, I think it has some basis in fact. IAE that’s the best name I think would apply to what I am talking about.
And you’ll note that the rule would have to be virtually universal, with no deviations from the norm. How would that be accomplished? I don’t know. That would be a good opening question.
