Which draft? I thought that the NFL Draft was this weekend (April 17-18) and the Fest is next weekend (April 24). Am I wrong on one of those or has Bush instituted a military draft and you have a low draft number?
Oops, I guess not. Well, that’s what I get for getting info from my Pops. Anyway, the draft is long and boring whilst Dopefests are full of action-packed adventure!
Dunno about any draft, but the Fest most definitely is the 24th. I’m going to Maryland this weekend, having a private Fest <wink wink nudge nudge> so anyone who goes to the park this weekend will miss me.
Once I get back in town, I’ll start gathering my picnic stuff together. Gotta remember the charcoal…

KG, can you email me your phone #? I expect we’ll leave our place between 8 and 8:30, depending upon when the kid gets back from Grad night at Disney. That gets me to your place by about 9:30 or so, but if we run late, I want to be able to call you.
Don’t forget, everyone - bring whatever you want to toss on the grill - I have charcoal - and if you can, bring something to share. Look for the balloons. Bring a suit if you want to swim in the spring. (I left my stupid suit on the boat… rats)
