I have found a few cool sites in Germany that offer free downloads of TV shows and movies, but unfortunately, there seem to be some, uh, issues with allowing me to see these in the USA (Licensing Agreements and such…) There is usually a pop up that will state, “Not available to stream in this country…” or some variation of such.
All I want to do is watch some TV and the occasional movie that is offered free in Germany to anyone living there - mostly older films and television series.

Supposedly, this will allow me to set up my computer so that it looks like it is located in Germany. Has anyone ever used this, or something like it? In theory, it sounds good, but not in the mood to drop $9.95/mo if it is useless or going to cause some kind of international incident…
