I hadn’t seen any Brazil or Japan games before because of unfortunate kick-off times in the middle of the night, but this game started at 7 PM for me, and so far Japan are really outplaying Brazil.

I admit it’s kind of nice not having to deal with them this year, but I think of bizarre kickoff times as part of the fun of the World Cup. The USA’s greatest win in recent history, 2-0 over Mexico in 2002, kicked off at 2 am Chicago time IIRC.
