Though they announced the outcome before it happened…

It was nice to see someone win the million dollar question. One would hope the state superintendant of schools would do well. The only question I wasn’t sure of was the counties bordering Costa Rica ( I couldn’t remeber if it was north or south of Nicaragua - the country they mentioned - for the record the answer was Panama)

I had wndered and now I know - if you win the million dollars you can say “I’m <name> and I am smarter than a 5th grader.”

that was pretty cool. i don’t think i would’ve taken a chance on the million dollar question, though. maybe if i were playing for charity. that costa rica question was also the only one i didn’t know, too. duh–i just thought i got mixed up on countries in africa!
